bitcoin resources

Learning about Bitcoin is a fun and exciting journey. That being said, it is not without its challenges and can sometimes even be frustrating. It can be difficult to sift through the monumental amount of information that is available to one nowadays. Moreover, it’s even more difficult to discern the good from the bad, the credible from the unreliable - and most importantly - the legitimate from the scammer.

Below is a curated list of all of my favorite resources I have come to know and love throughout my Bitcoin learning journey. If it is on this list I consider it legit, trustworthy and reliable. Much like what I aim to do here at Bitcoin Bits & Bytes - these resources helped me get to where I am today. I hope they provide you with as much value and insight they have provided me over the years.

Note: I regularly make updates to this list. That includes adding new resources as I discover them as well as removing resources I no longer consider reliable and/or trustworthy.

Whitepapers

A whitepaper is a document that presents a comprehensive report or guide about a specific topic, often to inform readers or propose a new idea. While their is no official rule on what topics they cover or how long they should be, in the context of Bitcoin, a whitepaper typically introduces a concept and technical workings of the subject or topic it addresses. They serve as both an educational resource and a foundational blueprint for its implementation.

No Bitcoin publication would be worth its salt without a reference to where it all started: The Bitcoin Whitepaper, By Satoshi Nakamoto.
